Marlene Laruelle

Marlene Laruelle is Director and Research Professor at the Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies at the George Washington University. Her lecture will discuss how the Kremlin has been dealing with Russia’s decoupling with the West, a deeper engagement with the Global South, and a fading presence in the post-Soviet space, and how should we be thinking of Russia’s today status in the world.
