Combatting Misinformation/Disinformation about the War in Ukraine

Panel Discussion

The war in Ukraine has a number of fronts, including in cyberspace. Efforts to counter Russian-sponsored misinformation and disinformation have been an important, if perhaps underappreciated, aspect of the overall war. This special panel will feature a variety of experts and perspectives on this topic, including how civil society, academia, the private, and public sectors can work better together to debunk deep fakes and make democracy harder to hack.

Sponsored by the Ostrom Workshop and the Robert F. Byrnes Russian and East European Instittute.
