Spenser A. Warren is pursuing a PhD in political science at Indiana University Bloomington. His dissertation examines the factors driving Russian nuclear modernization since 1999. His main research interests are nuclear strategy and politics, Russian foreign and security policy, U.S.-Russia relations, and Eurasian security. Prior to studying at Indiana University Bloomington, Spenser received a BA in international relations and a BA in Russian and Eurasian area studies from Michigan State University. Spenser previously participated in the summer language workshop at Indiana University and received a Title VIII fellowship to study Russian.
