Siobhan Kirkland is a Ph.D. student at the George Washington University studying comparative politics and international relations. Her primary research focuses on ethnic politics, and migration in authoritarian states with a regional focus on Russia and the post-Soviet region. Siobhan holds a Master of Science degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a Master of Arts degree in Russian and European Affairs from the University of Toronto. She received her B.A. in International Relations from the University of Calgary in 2010.
