Yaakov is a PhD student in Modern Jewish History at the Jewish Theological Seminary. He completed his BA at Salem State University, earning degrees in philosophy, history and geology. In 2013, Yaakov studied Yiddish in the Steiner Summer Yiddish Program in Amherst, MA, at the Yiddish Book Center.
