Tova Benjamin is a joint PhD student at New York University in the departments of History and Hebrew and Judaic Studies. There she specializes in Russian-Jewish history, with interest in the history of medicine and Yiddish language and literature. She holds a BA from the University of Toronto, where she studied comparative literature. She currently lives in New York, and participated in the Russian-Language Workshop in the summer of 2018.
