Sarah Fogleman manages programming and communications at the Russian Studies Workshop. She earned a B.A. in Russian studies at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and an M.A./M.L.S. in IU's Russian & East European Institute. Her master's thesis looked at the challenges of education reform in Latvia in the 15 years following the breakup of the Soviet Union. Sarah worked in editing and marketing at Slavica Publishers before coming to RSW, and in outreach and communications at the Claims Conference (Conference on Jewish Material Claims against Germany) in New York before that. Sarah was a Peace Corps volunteer in Latvia from 1998-2000 and speaks Latvian and Russian.
