Dima Kortukov is a a post-doctoral scholar in the Department of Political Science, University of Kentucky. He received his PhD in Political Science from Indiana University in 2022. Hs research interests include authoritarian and hybrid regimes (with a focus on parties, elections and electoral reforms) and Communist/post-Communist politics (especially Russia and Ukraine). Dima conducted fieldwork in Russia during 2017, 2018 and 2020. His research was supported by grants and fellowships from the Russian Studies Workshop (Indiana University); the Association for Slavic, East European, & Eurasian Studies; and the Institute for Humane Studies. Dima's work has been published in Comparative Politics, Problems of Post-Communism, and Russian Politics.
