Dafna Rachok is a PhD Candidate in Sociocultural Anthropology with a minor in russian and Eastern European Studies. Interested in medical and political anthropology, she is currently working on her doctoral dissertation, provisionally titled “States of Vulnerability: Belonging, Bureaucracy, and Public Health in Ukraine.” Her research is funded by NSF, the Wenner-Gren Foundation, and Canadian Institute for Ukrainian Studies, among others. Dafna has an MA in Anthropology from University of Alberta (Canada) and a BA in Cultural Studies from Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine). She has published in Anthropologica and Economic Anthropology.
